Last weekend was a hot one in Oklahoma, but the triple-digit temperatures didn’t keep three Seiling baseball players from competing with Wake-and-Rake Baseball in Mustang for a weekend tournament. Kaden Manuel, Zane Sander and Alex Aull have been competing with W.A.R. Baseball all summer, and last week in the Mustang 4GG July Shootout, the team ran the table to take home their first title of the season.

The Seiling Lady Cats saw their softball schedule reach its end last week with a 5-0 victory over the Lady Oilers from Merritt. The victory means Seiling finishes the season with a winning record at 5-4 record, after splitting a pair of games the prior week.
This summer has been anything but ordinary for young athletes across the state, but for Seiling’s Hudson Hamar, Brock Gore, Jacob Colvard and Jaron Hunter, they finally got to compete on the hardwood for the 3T’s travel team. The squad traveled to Oklahoma City last weekend to play in the Oklahoma Roundball Fourth Annual Challenge, where they won four out of their five games to earn second place at the event.
While many of the travel teams in Oklahoma started their summer schedules in early June, the 3T’s high school boys’ team chose to hold off until the end of the month before hitting the hardwood. Seiling’s Braxton Hamar and Noah Hammons are competing for 3T’s again this summer, and took part in their first tournament in Oklahoma City this past weekend.
The Seiling 14U softball team traveled to Elk City for a doubleheader against Merritt and Elk City last week. While the girls dropped the first contest to the Lady Oilers, the defeated the hometown Elkettes to move to 3-3 on the season.
