The Seiling Wildcats saw their season come to an end last week, just two wins shy of qualifying for their second State Tournament appearance in three years. After picking up an opening-day victory over Shattuck on Thursday, the Wildcats were defeated by Regent Prep for the second time in eight days, eliminating them from the playoffs.

Last week the Seiling Lady Cats saw their season come to an end with a 55-50 overtime loss to Pond Creek-Hunter. After losing to Frontier on the first day of the Regional Round, Seiling bounced back with a big win over Coyle to set up a Saturday-afternoon matchup with the Lady Panthers.
After securing the District Title a week ago, the Seiling Wildcats found themselves in favorable position heading into the Regional Round of the playoffs. Still, last week was a wild one that saw Seiling blow a 19-point lead on opening night, then reel off two impressive victories to secure their place in Area Round starting on Thursday.
Last Wednesday was National Signing Day, where athletes from all over the country fulfill childhood dreams of being able to take their playing careers to collegiate level.
