Another milestone from the 2016 Seiling Bond Initiative has been reached as the new softball field was officially completed last week. The final step was to have the Lady Cats’ new scoreboard installed which took place last Tuesday.
Over the course of the academic school year, Seiling was privileged to see some truly special feats from the young athletes representing the Wildcats. For the first of this fivepart series, we take a look at an outstanding comeback by the high school boys’ basketball team over the Canton Tigers for the district championship.
Lost in the shadow of the COVID-19 pandemic shutdown was the completion of the brand-new multi-purpose facility located on the south end of the football field. This facility, along with the softball field just east of it, were part of the 2016 bond that also included the new school that just wrapped up its first academic year.
As the 2019-2020 school year comes to an official close, many students and athletes are being recognized for their outstanding accomplishments in various activities. For Seiling junior, Braxton Hamar, he was recognized by Enid News and Eagle for honorable mention on their All-NW Oklahoma Boys Basketball Team.
