In the fourth installment of our fight-part series revisiting the top sports moments of the past year, we go back the second round of the playoffs for the Seiling basketball girls. After watching a senior class that won four-state straight titles graduate, it was no secret that the 2019-2020 Lady Cats were likely to see their 28-game playoff winning streak snapped at some point.
As the calendar turns to June, athletes across the state are being allowed to get back to school facilities to train. For Seiling’s athletes, that means they can get back in the gym as of this week.
In the third installment of the top sports moments for Seiling over the past school year, we delve back into week three of the football season. The Wildcats were 2-0, but week three would bring back their familiar opponent in Pioneer-Pleasant Vale.
The Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association Board of Directors held a special meeting to hear a threephase plan to slowly bring back school-related extracurricular activities in the state last Friday. On May 4, the OSSAA extended their cancellation of all activities until at least June 1.
