After having only played once in nine days, the Seiling junior high softball team competed in a one-day tournament hosted by Hammon last Friday, where the Lady Cats were able to run the table for five-straight victories to win the event. Seiling defeated Hobart, Shattuck, Arapaho and Cheyenne on their way to the Championship Hardware, thanks to a combination of hot bats, terrific pitching and stellar defense.

The Seiling Wildcats opened up the 2020 football season with the Pioneer-Pleasant Vale Mustangs and struggled mightily on the road to the tune of a 60-12 loss.
The Seiling Junior High softball team continued to roll last week with wins over Arnett on the road and Hydro-Eakly in Seiling. The girls have now won six of their last eight games with three shutouts in that stretch.
Last week the Seiling Wildcats played host to the Laverne Tigers in their annual fall scrimmage prior to the start of the football schedule. Originally pegged to be a three-team event, Waynoka was forced to cancel at the last minute, leaving only the two district rivals to compete.
After a busy week to open the season, Seiling only competed three times last week, dropping contests to Arapaho-Butler and Hammon before defeating the Lady Terriers of Thomas for the second time this season. The Lady Cats are now 6-5 on the year, already having doubled their win total from 2019.
