Hamar, Hammons open up summer schedule

While many of the travel teams in Oklahoma started their summer schedules in early June, the 3T’s high school boys’ team chose to hold off until the end of the month before hitting the hardwood. Seiling’s Braxton Hamar and Noah Hammons are competing for 3T’s again this summer, and took part in their first tournament in Oklahoma City this past weekend.

Nyberg voted to OCCTCA All-State Track Team

The Oklahoma Cross Country and Track Coaches Association released their 2020 All-State Track Team, naming Seiling’s Brya Nyberg on the Class A Girls’ Team in early June. Despite the track season being cancelled due to the spread of COVID-19, the coaches decided to honor those athletes who were expected to have big years in track and field by putting these rosters together.

Hamar hoping for productive summer with altered schedule

As a result of the recent COVID-19 pandemic, athletes across the state have seen their typical offseason programs altered significantly to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. For Coach Brady Hamar, that means changing his typical summer slate that includes a variety of camps and summer leagues, which have been a vital part of Seiling’s success on the hardwood.
