WILDCATS WILL PLAY FRIDAY WITH PLAN TO MAKE IT TO STATE

The Seiling Wildcats headed into regionals riding high, but also aware that the competition was about to start getting more stiff. Fortunate for the Wildcats, that wasn’t the case in their Thursday-night matchup with Oklahoma Bible Academy in Seiling.

After building an 11-point lead in the first quarter, the Trojans started chipping away at Seiling’s lead. The problem was they were also getting in foul trouble, and Seiling entered the bonus with 1:29 left in the first quarter. The Wildcats made them pay after spending the entire second quarter shooting free throws every time OBA fouled them. They went 12-14 at the line, and built the lead back up to 24 by halftime.
