Wildcats move to 3-0 with two wins at Calumet

Prior to Spring Break the Seiling baseball team took part in the Calumet Festival. There, the Wildcats were able to earn a pair of victories over Calumet and Southwest Covenant thanks to terrific pitching and timely hits to remain unbeaten in the early portion of the season.

On Thursday, Seiling defeated the host team fueled by a pair of big knocks from Kaden Manuel and Bryson Gore. The Wildcats jumped out to an early lead thanks to a two-out single by Gore and back-to-back errors by the Chieftains.

The first came after Gore went from first to third on a pick-off attempt. Ethan Louthan would later reach on a ground ball that got past the second baseman, scoring Gore.
