Seiling falls to Turpin in regular season finale
The Seiling football team’s struggles continued last Friday as they fell to the Turpin Cardinals by a score of 46-0. Little has gone right for the Wildcats over the past month, and that didn’t change as Seiling’s regular season schedule came to a close.
On offense, the Wildcats had a little more success running the football thanks to a pair of big runs by Kaden Manuel and Bryson Gore. However, consistency still evades them in that department and that combined with a passing attack that was plagued by Turpin pressure and dropped passes saw Seiling shutout for the third time this season.
Manuel ran for 59 yards on five carries while completing six of his 15 passes for only 19 yards. Gore ran ten times on the night for 28 yards. He also caught two passes for 18 yards, and attempted a pass that fell incomplete.
