Seiling Choir Students compete for WOCDA Honor Choir

Auditions for the Western Oklahoma Choral Director’s (WOCDA) All-Region Honor Choirs were held on October 1, at Shattuck High School. Students in Seiling high school and junior high chorus competed at the auditions. Seventeen Seiling students were selected to the choirs. For the auditions, the Junior High students were required to learn three songs: “Es Tu Tiempo by Francisco Nunez; “Festival Sanctus” by John Leavitt; and “Take Me to the Water” by Rollo Dilworth. For the auditions, the High School students were required to learn four songs: “Pilgrim Spring” by Reginald Unerseher; “Shivering Chorus” by Henry Purcell; “Ubi Caritas” by Ivo Antognini; and “Vox Populi” by Giedrius Svilainis.
