Hamar, Hammons open up summer schedule
While many of the travel teams in Oklahoma started their summer schedules in early June, the 3T’s high school boys’ team chose to hold off until the end of the month before hitting the hardwood. Seiling’s Braxton Hamar and Noah Hammons are competing for 3T’s again this summer, and took part in their first tournament in Oklahoma City this past weekend.
Overall, 3T’s finished in fifth place out of eight teams after splitting their four games over the weekend. In the opening game on Saturday evening, the guys built a 21-point lead, only to watch it dwindle away in the second half.
The game would ultimately be decided by a last-second shot that gave Oklahoma Dream Elite the 59-58 victory. In their second game of the evening, 3T’s found themselves down early to the Rattlers after they opened the game on 12-3 run.
