Cats face Cherokee in unbeaten battle

After going almost unchallenged a week ago, things heat up in a hurry Friday night as Seiling’s Wildcats go back on the road for the first time in three weeks for a battle of unbeatens at Cherokee. Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m.

The Wildcats rode their defense to a 46-0 Homecoming thrashing last week utilizing short fields for almost all their scores, but Coach Gary Manuel wasn’t overly pleased with his team’s effort. He stressed this week that things will have to pick up dramatically if Seiling is going to improve to 5-0 against the athletic Chiefs.
