Another impressive week for Lady Cats

Facing two of the perennially best small school teams in the state of Oklahoma last week, the Seiling Lady Cats flexed their muscle in the quest for a fourth straight state championship with dominant victories.

The Lady Cats first blasted 2A Cashion, 70-38, and then throttled Class B Hammon, 70-32, on Friday in a showdown of number one ranked teams as defense carried the day with exceptional showings against each .

Coach Brady Hamar’s club returns to action this week looking for another invitational crown in the Bi-County Tournament starting Thursday in Elk City.

“Both games we just dominated defensively,” Hamar said. “We still didn’t shoot the ball very well either game. We missed a lot of shots we need to be able to hit and have kind of gotten into the habit of that lately, so we need to get more consistent shooting the basketball.
