Town Board approves rodeo dance at Murray Park
A Special Event Application from the Seiling Round-Up Club for the annual rodeo dance was approved by the Seiling Town Board during its regular June meeting.
The dance will be held Saturday, August 1 at Murray Park and continue into the early morning hours of August 2. The approval also allows patrons to consume alcoholic beverages at the park Friday, July 30 and Saturday, August 1.
Seiling’s Chamber of Commerce also requested for Third Street to be closed from Pioneer Alley to Main Street from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on August 1 for rodeo activities. The trustees approved the closing. The Chamber is planning a hot dog and hamburger feed that day after the annual parade.
Board members approved Resolution 2020-4, which adopted the 2020-21 fiscal year budget with amendments, as well as Resolution 2020-5, making the Town of Seiling beneficiary of the Seiling Economic Development Authority, a Public Trust of which the Town is beneficiary.
