Town Board approves Farmers’ Market for Saturdays
A Farmers’ Market and live animal booth each Saturday on Main Street was approved during the regular July meeting of the Seiling Town Board of Trustees.
Several minutes of discussion occurred during the meeting concerning the cleanup, sales tax collections, and permitting for a Farmers Market. The trustees approved the motion for five hours every Saturday until they contact other towns to establish rules for collecting Sales Tax.
A discussion was held with the representative from NextLink. They were asking for a lease agreement and access easement. After discussion, the trustees voted to table making a decision.
There was only one Residential Land Use permit and it was approved. Approved was the permit for Michael Brien at 301 N. Locust Street for a garage and playhouse.
