School building time frame now mid-January
The Seiling School Board heard from contractors about continuing work on the final phases of the new school building during its regular December meeting.
Time frame for occupancy of the building has been delayed until at least mid-January due to a few unexpected things needing to be fixed before all inspections are completed.
“We want to have the entire building Pre-K through 12th ready before we make the transition over there,” Superintendent Randy Seifried commented. “The earliest we are looking at right now are the second week of January. We’re moving along but when you start checking out everything in a building that size you find a few things that need to be fixed.
