School building soon set for occupancy
Despite continuing disagreements between the architectural firm and construction company, the Seiling School Board was assured the new school building will be available for occupancy by January during its special meeting last week.
The Board quizzed representatives from Boynton Williams & Associates about the monetary concerns presented by officials from Nabholz Construction at their regular meeting 10 days prior.
Boynton Williams Project Manager Alison Acker told the Board that any changes in cost should have been presented to them but weren’t until a week ago after the December School Board meeting.
“Their (Nabholz) project managers changed, so the original information was not exactly what was presented in June,” Acker stated. “They were told to field verify everything not on the job drawing.”
