Elementary Christmas Program scheduled for Tuesday night

The Seiling Elementary Program, “A Very Merry Seiling Christmas”, will be on Tuesday at 7 p.m. All students in kindergarten through sixth grade will perform in the program.

The program starts with the sixth grade as students in school at Seiling in 1908. They are rehearsing for their Christmas program under the direction of their teacher Miss Phillips, played by Tatum Nichols. Emma Scrooge, a very cranky, and unhappy student whose Great, Great Uncle is Ebenezer Scrooge, falls and hits her head. Emma dreams that Santa Claus, played by Zane Sander, takes her on a journey to the future by time traveling through the years at Seiling School.

Together Emma and Santa Claus time travel and meet students from the “Roaring 20s” played by the Fifth Grade; “The Forties” played by the Third Grade; “The Sixties” played by the Second Grade; “The Eighties” played by the Fourth Grade; “The 2000s” played by the Kindergarten; and “2018 Students” played by the First Grade. As they travel through the decades, Emma learns about all the changes that will happen at Seiling Schools, and that giving to others will help her to have a very, merry Christmas.
