District Judge Bozarth heads into retirement
When Rick Bozarth’s term as Associate District Judge ends on January 13 it will be the culmination of nearly four full decades of work for the folks of Dewey County.
During his 38 years as an attorney and judge he has admittedly abided by one golden rule no matter the circumstances.
“My rules was always as long as you treat people with respect it will all play out well,” Bozarth stated during his recent retirement ceremony which packed the Dewey County courtroom with friends, family and colleagues alike.
Bozarth started as a lawyer in the area in 1980 and was in that capacity dealing with many different type of cases for 26 years before deciding to run for the judge position in 2006.
After winning the election he has been a permanent and popular resident of the bench for the last dozen years.
