Commissioners sign off on new pot farm near Oakwood
Dewey County Commissioners met December 28 for their last meeting of 2020 and learned another marijuana farm is going in near Oakwood.
DBK Farm LLC brought their Certificate of Compliance for OMMA Businesses to the commissioners. District #2 Commissioner Lance Sander signed the certificate saying Dewey County has no zoning laws for the entity to comply with. It now goes to the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority for approval.
The Emergency Protocol for the Dewey County Courthouse is on the agenda for each meeting and remained intact. “I think we need to leave it as it is,” said District #3 Commissioner Jr. Salisbury. He then made that motion and all three voted to approve leaving the courthouse operating as it is.
