Commissioners approve Pioneer internet agreement
Dewey County Commissioners voted to approve a service level agreement with Pioneer Telephone to provide 100 mb internet service throughout the courthouse offices and sheriff’s office during its regular meeting last week.
A Pioneer representative was on hand to inform the commissioners that the service will first be installed to the sheriff’s office with a line being run from there to service the entire courthouse and offices with no expected interruptions.
Taloga Cable had provided internet service to the courthouse and other offices, with the exception of the sheriff office, court clerk and assistant district attorney, since the building opened at 50 mbps, according to president Glenn Gore.
