Commissioners approve opioid lawsuit agreement
Following discussion the Dewey County Commissioners voted to approve an agreement with Fulmer Sill, PLLC and McAfee & Taft regarding the opioid lawsuit, tax protests and any conflict of interest during their final meeting of the Fiscal Year last week.
The group meanwhile tabled a contract for services between Dewey County Assessor’s Office and Total Assessment Solutions Corporation as well as a services agreement between Dewey County and Oklahoma State University through Center for Local Government Technology in order to get a review from the district attorney.
A building lease between Dewey County and South Canadian Neighbors Inc for property located in Camargo was approved from July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020.
The allocation of alcoholic beverage tax was approved along with a resolution to execute the agreement establishing ACCO Self Insurance Group as well as a resale property fund from the Dewey County Treasurer.
