How the Transfer Portal will change college sports


I am sure many college sports fans were just as dumbfounded as me the first time they heard the term “Transfer Portal.”

In the last year, the NCAA has loosened the rules on transfers, and it has created a free agency-like frenzy, especially in college football.

The portal was created to give players and schools an easier process for transferring. The player must tell his coach he wishes to transfer, followed by that coach having 48 hours to put his name in the portal.
