Congress Has a CR Problem

Congressman Frank Lucas, R-Cheyenne, released the following statement after the U.S. House of Representatives passed a short-term Continuing Resolution. Lucas opposed the legislation.

“Congress’ failure to properly provide stable funding for our nation’s federal government reflects the broken process currently plaguing Washington. Instead of buckling down and passing spending bills on time with measured debate, lawmakers, for two decades now, have adopted last-minute, stop-gap measures to fund the federal government,” said Lucas.
