Beverly Jo (Greb) Kopf was born November 24, 1935 to Ezra and Clara (Geis) Greb on the family farm south of Isabella, Oklahoma. She departed this life on June 22, 2020 at the age of 84 years at her home north of Southard, Oklahoma with her family at her side.
Marilyn Jane (Threlkeld) Duke, of Seiling, was born to William “Bill” and Wilma Jean Threlkeld on November 13, 1944. She passed from this life on June 20, 2020 at the age of 75 years, 7 months, and 7 days.
Sharen K. Peoples, 71, of rural Canton, Oklahoma departed this life on Thursday, June 18, 2020 at Enid, Oklahoma. Sharen and her twin sister, Karen, were born May 10, 1949 to William (Bill) Gordon and Anna Lee (Cox) Gordon at Okmulgee, Oklahoma.
Herbert M. Jeffery, age 84, Burr Oak, Kansas, was born December 5, 1935 in Northbranch, KS. He died June 12, 2020 at home in Wichita, Kansas, after a long struggle with cancer. Herb was the son of Lewis and Esther (Dillon) Jeffery. He attended Union 1 oneroom school house, Burr Oak High School, 1953, and graduated with a B.S. in Agriculture at Friends University in 1962. He married Rosetta Stands in 1961, and they made their home on a farmstead in Northbranch. To this union were born Arlen and Teri. Herb farmed with his dad, older brother Maurice, and nephew Brad. He was a self-taught mechanic, engineer, CAD-designer, and welder, designing farm implements whenever he saw that something should work better. He saw a need for a v-blade plow/ fertilizer/air-seeder that would flex over the hills and terraces. Herb and Kelly McNichols teamed up to create the Accu-flex which he designed, and they built and patented in both Canada and the United States. He was a problemsolver and never backed down from a challenge, whether it was trying something new or fixing something old.
