Wilfred Thomas “Tom” Pippin

Wilfred Thomas “Tom” Pippin, passed from this life on April 18, 2020 in Seiling, OK. He was born to Thomas Pippin and Lou Verna (Vanderhoof) McBeath on October 17, 1929 in Peru, KS. The family migrated to San Bernardino, California during the dust bowl when Wilfred was a young boy. Tom graduated from high school, and soon enlisted in the Navy in 1948, where he learned to be an electrician. He continued this career after his honorable discharge in 1957. This proved to be a little more difficult for Tom because he was color blind, so he would carry a labeled wire of each color to make sure they matched right. Tom worked for many years in California.

Tom is preceded in death by his parents, and a son, Wilfred Thomas Pippin, Jr., brother Paul Pippin, and sisters Ruth Jaime and Lois Curtis.

Left to carry on his legacy are his daughter Jackie Gore and husband Bob of Taloga; grandkids Sean Gore, Nichole Gore, Wendy Gore, and granddaughter-in-law April Gore; Great grandkids Taylor Gore, Kayla Gore and fiance Ryan Royse, Clayton Gore, Hunter Gore, Cody Gore, Mattie Gore, Jae-Rome Porter, Loren Gore, Zoe Gore, and Sophie Pughsley; great great granddaughters Jinali Draper and Emma Royse; sister Barbara Pippin, brother Daniel Pippin, half- brother James McBeath, several nieces and nephews, as well as many other relatives and friends.

Family Services will be held at a later date.
