Sharon worked as the office manager for Jay, as well as, helping him in any capacity she was needed. They retired from their clinic in 2001.
Sharon’s dad taught her how to fly fish and her mother taught her how to cook. Many summer vacations were spent in the Rocky Mountains between South Fork and Creed, Colorado fishing on the Rio Grande River or one of the mountain lakes in the area. Preparing meals for hungry ranchers and harvesters was almost an everyday happening and that continued into her adult years since she loved to entertain and be a gracious hostess. She liked cooking, playing her piano, singing, sewing and watching NCIS but her favorite enjoyment was being “Granny” to four granddaughters.
