Charles Ray Goldston

Charles Ray Goldston, son of John and Bonnie (Cox) Goldston, was born March 25, 1949 at Marlow, OK. He departed this life on March 17, 2020 at his home. He was 70 years old.

He spent his early years in Marlow where he attended school. Later the family moved to Dennison, TX where he went to school. They moved to Seiling in 1964. Charlie left Seiling High School early to join the military, although he later earned his G.E.D. He entered the United States Army and served his country in Vietnam with the 1st Infantry. He was honorably discharged on October 23, 1970 at the rank of Specialist.

He married Janice (Diercks) Goldston on June 29, 1993 in Las Vegas, NV. The couple made their home in Seiling and he worked as a roughneck and later electrician in the oilfields. Charlie was generally a quiet man, and he enjoyed traveling and going to casinos. He was also a member of the VFW. In addition to his parents,

In addition to his parents, Charlie was preceded in death by his five siblings, John Preston Goldston, Nelda Kay Gilley, Mary Alice LiVecchi, Ronnie J. Goldston, Dickie Lee Goldston, and an uncle Kenny Cox.

He is survived by his wife Janice of the home, daughter Misty Renee Baxter, stepchildren Christi Black and Chip Cole and wife Bobbie, grandson Carson Ray Mclain, brother-in-law Lou LiVecchi, and aunt Melvina, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
